For the Blum Center’s Poverty Action Week 2019, Undergraduate Student Assistant Warsan Ali wrote an op-ed on the manifestation of class inequality on college campuses. Ali argues these inequalities ultimately affect the ability of students to succeed. Her insight on what getting through college is like from the perspective of low-income and first-generation students was featured in the Santa Barbara Independent.
