Calling all UCSB students!
Do you have an idea that you think could create a positive impact in your community but are unsure how to actually make it happen? Are you passionate about a social problem, but don’t know how to take the next step in addressing it? Join us for a Pop Up Discussion where two USCB students, Albert Ventayol Boada and Linda Toch, share their stories of how they took their ideas and turned them into real world projects through the Big Ideas social innovation contest. Both are still working to implement their ideas in their targeted communities, and at this event, they will share the highs and lows of their journey from day one. After Linda and Albert speak about their Big Ideas winning projects, a question and answer session for creating projects with social change in mind will commence.
Join us for a discussion on Monday, November 5th at 11 am in room 2320, Girvetz hall. Food will be served.
If you are interested in attending, RSVP to thomaslenihan@ucsb.edu.
