Sabina Menzhausen, a fourth-year biopsychology major with the Minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice (MPISJ), has been featured in the Daily Nexus for her work in creating a website that would allow Isla Vista residents to review their rentals using a Yelp-style model. Menzhausen completed this project in collaboration with IV Tenants Union and Associated Students as a part of her internship, a requirement of the MPISJ. The purpose of the website ratemyivrental.com, which isn’t live just yet, is to offer a place for honest and straightforward rental evaluations. Read more about her project here.
